About these guides
Why the study guides exist, how examples are prepared, how sources are used, and how to report an error.
Put what you read into practice.
The study guides show how to examine a lesson source, check your notes, and test your understanding. The mean and median example brings the steps together around one short source: the text, a summary, worked questions, and flashcards.
You do not need an account or credits to read the guides, reveal answers, or download the worksheet. The methods also work on paper. Processing your own files with LectureSift is a separate service, subject to your plan's usage limits.
How is the material prepared?
These texts were prepared for LectureSift with AI assistance. The example lesson's numbers were created for teaching; they do not represent a student's uploaded file or real research findings. The example pack does not guarantee the result of processing a live file.
The statistics lesson makes its calculations visible. For example, 18, 20, 20, 22, and 70 minutes sum to 150, with a mean of 30 and a median of 20 minutes. The summary table links important claims to the relevant source paragraph so you can check the calculation and interpretation yourself.
How should you use the sources?
Links supporting concepts and research claims appear at the end of the relevant guide. Evidence that a study method can help does not mean that everyone should use identical intervals or expect identical results. Adapt the revision plan to the subject, your exam date, and the mistakes you make.
AI-generated notes and these guides can contain errors. Your original course material and your teacher's conditions take priority. When you doubt a sentence, follow the note-checking guide: separate the claim, locate its source, and redo the calculation. The material does not promise a grade, an exam outcome, or a learning result.
Found an error?
Use the contact page to send the guide's address, the sentence in question, and a supporting source if you have one. For example: “Example study pack, paragraph S2: this calculation step is missing.” This identifies what needs checking; you do not need to share a private lesson file or personal information.
The date at the top shows the latest update. The guides currently have Turkish and English editions. The language link at the top opens the same guide in the other language.
